I'm New

We are so glad that you are interested in learning a little bit more about what God is doing through our church! We hope you will consider visiting so you can get to feel the warmth of our people first hand, but we also know that you may have some questions. Here are a couple of questions that we know many will have, but if you have more please do not hesitate to let us know!

I’m visiting for the first time. What do I need to do?

The majority of our folks park in the back of the church in our main parking lot. As you come in our greeters will welcome you and direct you to anywhere you want to go. There is no real dress code, we just want you to worship with us! Sunday School classes start at 9:30 (though folks usually stroll in a bit past then) and worship is at 10:45. One of the most important parts of worship is showing up! If you come and have more questions while you are here, we have many folks that would love to help answer them for you.

What does a worship service look like?

We believe that the best form of worship is worship that is passionate and intentional. What does that mean? Depending on the week you will hear hymns or more contemporary praise music. Each week includes a children’s moment, prayer, and a sermon. We love to mix things up from time to time based on where the Spirit leads as we feel worship should be more about the message than about personal preference.

What do you have available for nursery and children?

We have and incredible nursery and children’s space upstairs. Our congregation is filled with folks who will love on your children. The stairs leading to that area are visible from the sanctuary so you will always know where your children are (and sometimes you can hear how much fun they are having). Parents will receive a pager in case their children need them during the service. We also have a nursing room for new parents. We LOVE children and can’t wait to teach them about Jesus. 

Also, please know that while we love our children’s area, children of all ages are welcome in worship! We love the sound of children in our sanctuary and want them to see the joy of Christian worship. You will not bother anyone. We promise!
